Dinotto
Dinotto is an authentic Italian sandwich shop in Madison, WI that embraces it’s heritage and exemplifies culinary excellence. They wanted a website that reflected on the past while focusing on their delicious offerings. While going off their initial ideas we crafted a WordPress site for them featuring easily findable information and lots of calls to action to drive orders to their online ordering portal.
Capital Valuation
Capital Valuation Group is an independent firm that helps businesses, attorneys, and other business advisors navigate all aspects of business valuation. They needed a complete website refresh to replace an outdated site. Design Garden worked closely with them to build an entirely new site to showcase their professionalism and in depth subject knowledge that also reflected their personality.
Wisconsin First
Wisconsin First is a digital archive dedicated to preserving the history, activism, and legislative milestones that led to the passage of AB 70, the first statewide law in the United States to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation. Design Garden created the site and the developed the ability to search through and retrieve historical records. It also features advanced technology to scan documents and images to provide transcripts and related pages.
Table Cat Games
Table Cat Games is a table top game publisher. They needed a new site that was more robust and that they maintained more control over versus their original Squarespace site. The owner is the lead designer at Design Garden and Design Garden was the natural fit for the new site. TCG’s site was built in WordPress and it features a blog and a Woo Commerce store. This ecommerce solution handles multiple payment types, coupons, shipping for multiple weights/regions, calculations for discounts, and Printify print on demand API integration.
Lu Law Offices
Lu Law Offices is a Madison, WI based law firm that specializes in immigration and business law. Their website is a Squarespace based site that needed a refresh that reflected the personality and professionalism of their lawyer and to generate more leads. We worked with them to develop a more streamlined and clean site with prominent calls to action.
Hold Fast Counseling
Hold Fast Counseling is an outpatient mental health counseling service to help people grow and heal. They wanted to get away from their Wix site with something new that they had more control over. And they had a very quick turn around needed. We met the challenge and rebuilt their site in WordPress while also giving the design a slight refresh.
Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing & Productivity
WICMP is dedicated to helping Wisconsin manufacturers grow and compete in the global marketplace. They needed a website redesign that was easily navigable, clearly stated their mission purpose and values, while integrating with the reports and blog already present on their WordPress site and Design Garden delivered.
Cassidy Marayna
Cassidy Marayna is a multi-medium visual artist who creates art that evokes all five senses. She needed a website to display her art. She also wanted the ato sell her works of art online. Design Garden built a site for her along with a WooCommerce store so she can sell her art directly to her patrons.
Confectionique
Confectionique is a retail experience and a collection of virtual boutique outlets that feature elegance, style, and class. Their original site was just a blog, but they wanted to have a website that showcased their unique personality and brand. It was also important that they be able to feature their retail store openings, which are more like events than regular store hours.
We incorporated art from their store’s wallpaper and gave the site a feeling of elegance with a slight touch of whimsy. We also incorporated a blog and put in alerts to draw attention to store openings.
Our Lives Wisconsin
Our Lives is an LGBTQ magazine local to Wisconsin. The editor came to Design.Garden with ideas with how he wanted his media site to work. This is a content heavy site that needed filtering not just by category, but by region. With some clever thinking and slick code we were able to create a site that the editor was hoping for.
BCCN
Badger Childhood Cancer Network is a prominent not-profit in Madison, WI. BCCN provides a myriad of services for families whose children have been recently diagnosed with cancer. The site needed a redesign that would be friendly, comforting and still professional. Additionally they wanted to be able to take donations online, but they wanted to provide scheduled, continual options as well.
WB Manufacturing
WB Manufacturing had a cumbersome site that they couldn’t manage themselves. With hundreds of skus and multiple ways to customize a piece of furniture WB needed to be able to make updates on their own. We moved their site to WordPress and gave the site a design refresh. We trained their team to make changes and to manage their own site. Once the new site went live the team picked the site up and started tackling updates and additions right away.
WASB
Wisconsin Association of School Boards wanted a multitude of custom features included in their site redesign and continued web support after the site was launched. While WASB has their own web team that keep the site updated they partner with us to sort out kinks and issues along the way. Additionally, we have developed custom plugins that have automated tasks to save time and money.
